Character Counts!

Roberts Paideia Academy will continue implementing a program called “Character Counts!” This proactive character education program is based on the six pillars of character listed below.

Respect – Value all persons, live by the Golden Rule, be courteous and polite to all, be tolerant and accepting of differences, and respect others’ dignity, privacy and freedom.

Citizenship – Do your share, protect the environment, play by the rules, respect authority, stay informed, obey laws, help your community.

Caring – Be helpful, be thoughtful, all a sick friend, think of others first, be a good listener, write a thank-you note.

Trustworthiness – Be loyal, be dependable, be a good friend, keep your promises, be honest and sincere, have courage to do the right thing, protect your friends, family, and reputation.

Fairness – Be fair, share equally, think of others before you act, don’t play favorites, don’t be prejudiced, reward good behavior, don’t accuse carelessly.

Responsibility – Be on time, be reliable, use self-control, be accountable, pursue excellence, set a good example, accept responsibility for your choices think before you act-consider the consequences.
